Civil engineering is a professional engineering discipline and is one of the highest-paying professions. They act in the field of designing, construction, and maintenance of the physical and naturally built environment. This includes public works such as roads, canals, dams, airports, bridges, pipelines, sewerage systems, structural components of buildings, and railways.   • Structural Engineering

Structures engineering is a sub-discipline of civil engineering. Their duty is to study and analyze structural designs such as buildings, towers, bridges, offshore structures, and flyovers. They are also trained to design the ‘bones and muscles’ that create the form and shape of man-made structures. Structured engineering is concerned with identifying the loads, their corresponding effect on a particular type of structure, and designing a structure that is safe and supports the loads.

  • Forensic Engineering

Forensic Engineering is a part of civil engineering which includes the investigation and analysis of materials, structures, products, or components that do not operate as intended. It also deals with retracing processes and procedures leading to accidents in the operation of vehicles or machinery.
